Encouraging children to exercise

Hesburger actively supports youth exercise and health. Co-operation with the Finnish Athletics Association (SUL) began in 2004. Over the years, local track and field meets known as Hese Games have evolved into a general programme for activating children and youth. In 2009, Hesburger was named Partner of the Year by the Finnish Athletics Association for its long-term commitment to children and sports.

Organised by Hesburger and the Finnish Athletics Association, the H-Hetki programme encourages schoolchildren to exercise. It reaches over 500 comprehensive schools with some 80,000 Finnish schoolchildren. Altigether an estimated 85,000 children participate in H-Hetki and the Hese Games each year.
