RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

“Responsible business” refers to the company’s responsibility mindset as a whole. For Hesburger, responsible actions and decisions have been part of business for a long time. Our local roots and lean organization make us agile and quick to act when necessary. From the responsibility standpoint, this is both a strength and a risk factor, and it needs strong principles of responsibility for support.

With the systematic development of corporate responsibility, responsible management at Hesburger is also evolving. As knowledge and awareness grow, the company can increasingly take responsibility perspectives into account in all decisions. Getting the entire personnel and all company activities aligned with responsible thought and action is especially important. As the best practices and experiences spread within the organization, responsibility really begins to show and bring added value.

The primary tool for development is Hesburger’s sustainability reporting, which we plan to carry out in line with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Under this directive, Hesburger is obliged to include responsibility in its annual report.

All taxes related to Hesburger’s business operations in Finland are paid in Finland. Most of the accumulated profits are reinvested into business development.

"I think Hesburger is a responsible domestic actor."
