Smaller Packaging – Less Waste
The packaging materials used at Hesburger restaurants have become more and more environmentally friendly during the last decades. Hesburger’s carefully chosen packaging materials and methods are environmentally friendly and ensure that the food remains in delicious condition.
Today, Hesburger hamburgers are served wrapped in paper. Larger hamburgers come wrapped with a supporting cardboard band, but plastic and cardboard boxes are no longer used at all. A bio-lining ensures that the biodegradable wrappers are moisture-resistant.
Development work on materials is ongoing and Hesburger will continue to take advantage of new, environmentally friendlier materials in the future.
